Do you feel the need to buy a new pair of black boots every fall? So do I! I’m obsessed with finding the perfect low-to-no heel black boot that’ll look sleek and chic when I’m dropping the kids off at school, then running around on work appointments. They have to be extremely comfortable or I’ll be crabby all day long. They also have to transition nicely into dinner plans and be versatile enough to look great with jeans, skirts or leggings. Here’s the resulting wishlist:
1. Stuart Weitzman The 5050 Boot, $598. This iconic over-the-knee boot has a stretchy back that ups the comfy-ness and is also good if your calves don’t always fit into zip up boots (like mine). The ¾ inch heel helps you stand a little taller and give some support, but are still super easy to walk in all day long.
2. Tory Burch Jess Bootie, $395. This cute bootie is an ankle-length version of a classic equestrian style. I love how streamlined it looks and the slender gold metal band at the heel glams it up just a notch.
3. MICHAEL Michael Kors Arley Ankle Boot, $225, has a 1”-inch heel and rubber soles, making it the perfect bootie for work or weekend. The detail of the adjustable ankle strap and gold-tone metal plate edge it up just enough.
