I Love It! Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths

In an ideal world, I’d be able to take a shower every morning, especially on those days when I have a big meeting. But in the real world, that’s a pipe dream.  At least one or two mornings a week get sidetracked at the last minute, either by one of my kids getting sick or waking up cranky and throwing a tantrum about getting dressed. (Or maybe I just overslept from binge watching Game of Thrones after the kids finally went to bed.) Like many working moms, that leaves me with no other choice than to do what my mom calls the QBG (Quick But Good) rinse off in the bathroom sink. But that feels uncomfortably awkward and soapy residue is hard to splash off and feels sticky all day.

GIVEAWAY ALERT!! See the bottom of the post for full details!

Enter my latest obsession: Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths, $3 for a pack of 10. They are basically like a face wipe for your body, made of large soft but durable cloth laced with a superfine powder that removes sweat and freshens and revives the skin. It also has a refreshing cooling sensation that’s going to be a savior come summer. I used one this morning in fact, before I ran off to the offices of Glamour, where I’ve been helping finish up the summer issue of Glam Belleza Latina. They come in three scents: Enliven (fresh spring scent), Invigorate (soft clean scent and my favorite) and Restore (light powder scent).

Look for Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths in the deodorant aisle of grocery stores, mass retailers and drugstores natiowide, and when you find them, pick up a few packs because the buzz is that they are quickly selling out everywhere!

My quick get-ready trick is.amouflage any pimples by applying a yellow-based cover-up to counteract the redness. Use a concealer brush to pat it on precisely, then blend the edges with your ring finger.

Apply baby powder to hair roots to absorb oil instead of washing. It’s good to skip a day of shampooing here and there and baby powder will help keep your hair looking great in between
